People have different skin types, and some may have dry skin, oily skin, and even a combination of both, which is why certain store-bought skincare products might work for others, but not for you. Different compounds may be added to the products that you can buy in stores. You might not know if these might harm your skin or not.

Some people have acne-prone skin, and acne can be caused by dirt, excess oil, and the foods you consume. And since there is a virus out there, people are required to wear masks. Maskne is the acne formed due to wearing masks, and you can look up what maskne causes are. If you are getting acne from wearing a mask or acne-prone skin, you use three natural remedies at home.

Apple Cider Vinegar Toner

We all know that store-bought toners can be expensive, but don’t worry because you can make natural toner at home. All you need is apple cider vinegar, water, and a spray container. Dilute ACV to the water, and voila, you now have a natural toner! It works as a toner because it can balance the skin’s PH levels. As per derma experts, the skin should be acidic, and that’s what the ACV is for. ACV also helps remove dead skin, kills bacteria, removes excess oil, draws out toxins, and aids in reducing pore size.

Coconut Oil

coconutSince one of the reasons people get acne is because of excessive oil, it might seem strange to hear that coconut oil can remedy acne. There are different kinds of oil, and choosing the right type of oil is a crucial part. Coconut oil has various uses inside and outside the body, and it can be perfectly used for the face. When you use coconut oil on your face, it soaks in your pores and keeps your skin moist and radiant. Coconut oil can have an antifungal and antibacterial effect, killing undesirable bacteria on the skin and preventing other bacteria from growing on the skin in the future. For this reason, it cures and prevents acne caused by bacteria and clogged pores.

Oil and Sugar Facial Scrub

To produce a natural facial scrub, all you need is to mix the sugar with the oil. It is up to you what type of oil you would use, but I suggest coconut oil! Aside from coconut oil, other kinds of oil provide various perks, and you just have to choose what works best for your skin. Facial scrub acts as an exfoliant for your skin, and it can help remove dirt and dry skin to lighten the pigment of your acne scars.
